At Moolmanshoek Leadership Development Centre, our Christian Boys Camps turn that natural desire for adventure into meaningful opportunities for personal growth, faith and character development.
Set in the magnificent Witteberg Mountains near Ficksburg in the Eastern Free State, our camps combine exciting outdoor adventures with biblical principles to help boys explore their identity, understand their responsibilities and discover what authentic manhood looks like. These experiences are designed for churches, schools, youth groups and father-and-son groups who want to invest in the next generation of young men.

In a world where manhood is often measured by achievements, possessions, status or power, we believe there is a deeper and more meaningful understanding to discover. At Moolmanshoek LDC, our Christian Boys Camps encourage young men to explore authentic manhood through the lens of the Bible. We believe that a man’s true identity is not defined by what he owns, what he achieves or the position he holds, but by his character, faith and the way he lives.
Through meaningful conversations, shared experiences and outdoor challenges, we encourage boys to consider the kind of men they want to become. Men who demonstrate integrity, courage, humility and responsibility. Men who understand the value of serving others, standing up for what is right and remaining faithful to their convictions.

Building Character & Essential Life Skills
While environmental education forms the foundation of our veld school camps, personal development is also an important part of the experience. Our programmes incorporate opportunities for learners to reflect on their character, relationships and responsibilities. Hiking
Perseverance & Determination
Mountain hiking teaches valuable lessons about endurance, preparation and perseverance. Along the trail, boys experience the importance of continuing through challenges and supporting those walking beside them.

Christian Boys Camps Designed Around Your Group
Every group of boys is different, and every church, school or youth organisation has its own objectives.
At Moolmanshoek Leadership Development Centre, we work with group organisers to understand the needs of the young men attending and the outcomes they hope to achieve.

Boys Camp Group Sizes
Minimum: 10 boys, accompanied by group leaders.
Maximum: 40 boys.
Programmes: Customised according to the group’s objectives, time frame and budget.
Suitable for: Churches, youth ministries, school groups and father-and-son groups.
