Hoërskool wilgerivier
Heerlike kamp gehad saam met die Graad 6 Leiers van HS Wilgerivier. Dankie vir julle waterdigte gesindhede en die baie lekker kamp saam met julle.
St Michael’s
Ever since we started camping with St Michael’s Bloem, we truly have felt so spoiled with the way the school has embraced us. Thanks so much St Michaels! And after our most recent camp, we came away with the same feeling. Thank you for trusting us to invest in the ladies you are nurturing at your school, we had a blast doing it! Go all out Proctor body and may 2023 be wonderfully blessed year in your lives as you serve the school with your amazing gifts.
Department of Education Resilience Camp
Such a privilege to partner with the Department of Education again as we joined hands in serving the girls that came for the Resilience Camp. As we served them our hope and prayer remained that our Heavenly Father would use their experience to help them grow and reach out to a better and brighter future. We consider relationship with our Heavenly Father as the biggest gift to all mankind and to help them on making this part of their journey going forward, we presented each girl with a Bible. This was handed over at a special sit down dinner where we tried to spoil the girls for a special evening as daughters of the King.
Hoërskool Hoopstad:
Hierdie was die derde keer dat ons saam met die leiers van HS Hoopstad kon kamp. Elke keer word dit net lekkerder en geniet ons dit so baie om ‘n bydra te kan gee in die ontwikkeling en groei van nie net die leiers nie, maar ook van die skool soos wat ons die kinders toerus en uitdaag om met hul talente en gawes terug te gaan ploeg by hul skool. HS Hoopstad is een van die skole wat ver reis om by ons te kom kamp en ons is dankbaar dat julle Moolmanshoek kies as julle bestemming vir die leierskap opleding van jul leerders. Mag 2023 ‘n besonderse geseënde jaar vir elkeen van julle wees!
Staats President Swart (SPS) Brandfort
Ten tye van die SPS se besoek aan Moolmanshoek het die Oos-Vrystaat weer vir ons ‘n tipiese ervaring gegee van vier seisoene in een kamp. Ons is so dankbaar dat Jesus die weer laat saam werk het sodat ons wel meeste van die beplande aktiwiteite kon inpas. Die leerders het so goed gedoen, en veral uitgeblink met die uitdaging wat ons toubaan bied. ‘n Groot hoogtepunt was om in die Eggo Grot te kon kuier by ‘n lekker vuurtjie terwyl die middag reënbui ons daar vas gekeer het. Ons hoop en vertrou dat julle die lesse sal onthou wat ons gedeel het gedurende die kamp vir die oorgang tydperk wat voorlê soos die nuwe avontuur van Hoërskool op julle wag. Seënwense vir 2023
New Horizon College
Our last camp of a very busy October month was with the Grade 6 learners of New Horizon College, Bethlehem. For many of these kids the experiences they had were a first and and sharing the mountains of Moolmanshoek with them was not only a personal challenge for these learners, but also a source of unexpected joy and fun. After the hard climb they were super excited about the cooling down a very unique rock pool offered them. We hope that the all the new skills the learners acquired during their visit, will reap much fruit in the years to come.
Ed-U-College
What a wonderful opportunity to practice mentoring leadership during camp as we hosted both the Grade 6 and Grade 11 leaders for 2023, from Ed-U-College Qwa-Qwa. The older children did a wonderful job of looking out for the younger ones and especially helping them find their way by setting good examples for them to follow. Mentoring is something we believe in very much and this was an amazing opportunity to put in practice theory as we were camping. Wishing you all the best for 2023 and beyond!
St Andrews
What a joy to have spend some time with the prefects from St Andrews. Our prayer is that they will continue to grow as men and make a positive contribution wherever they are. Specifically next year as the leaders of their school but also beyond that into adulthood and all the adventures that await.
Grey College
We had a wonderful camp with the 2023 leaders from Grey College. What a privilege to camp with these young men and use the adventure and joy that outdoor camping offer, to shape and mould their hearts. We are excited to see how they work towards their 2023 goals, may you make great headway. After camping with the Grade 8’s from Grey for many a year now, we are truly thankful that we have now also had the opportunity to invest in the lives of the Prefects. Thank you also to the staff that came with, we felt like we were receiving old friends.
